Ice Diving

Posted under Fun diving & Ice Diving & Rebreather & Sweden

On the 18th of February I finaly did some Ice Diving.

We did meet with some fellow MKVI Rebrather divers at Knivsåsens stenbrott (Dalby stenbrott) in Sweden to do some diving.

This was the first time I did some Ice Diving, and I did love it.

Thanks to Mikkel, Nico, Rene and Anders for a great day.

Here is a few pictures from the dive site, some of the divers is from another group.

If you wonder why they are lying around on the ice, it was while wating for another group to get up.

Here is a few youtube videos filmed by Submis.

p.s. I know my inflator is leaking, have to get it checked.

Free digital subscription to Dive Magazine

Posted under Diving & Magazine

It is now possible to subscribe to a free digital version of the british Dive Magazine here:
Subscribe

There are versions of the magazine for PC/Mac, Android, Iphone, iPad and Kindle fire.

I hope other magazines will start to do the same, either for free or for a small amount, so we finally get some professional dive magazine in digital versions.

Thanks to Alex Mustard for posting to Facebook about this.

My new drysuit a Ursuit Heavy Light Kevlar BDS

Posted under Diving

Last sunday I had the pleasure of trying out my new drysuit, a Ursuit Heavy Light Kevlar BDS drysuit.

Until now I have been using my Waterproff Centus neopren drysuit, which worked pretty well, but I wanted a drysuit with front zipper.

The new Kevlar drysuit is only 3,6 kg, I did choose the version where I need to wear Rock Boots, instead of build in boots in the suit.
Makes it a lot easy to put on, and the shoes sits tighter on my feet.

You can read more about the drysuit here: Information

I bought the suit at Scansub DKDivers in Roskilde.

I borrowed the pictures below from the Ursuit website.
