My last dive in 2009

Posted under Denmark & Fun diving

Yesterday 20th of December 2009.

I had the pleasure of diving with my friend Arne, at Trykkerdammen near Helsingør, Denmark.

The air was -5 degree Celsius, the waters surface temperature was about 2 degree Celsius, from 8 meters and deeper the water was a nice 8 degree Celsius warm.

I was using my Twin 10 set, to get more used to diving with it, I did notice a few things I need to adjust for future dives.

Posted under Fun diving & Red Sea

I just found this video on youtube today, it shows a William Trubridge freediving the Arch at Blue Hole in Dahab.

It is simply amazing to watch it, I really envy the freedivers their freedom. In the beginning of the movie you can see the support tech divers, watch the amount of equipment they need.

Hopefully I’ll go to Dahab and do this dive using tech equipment, I have the education to do it, but never been to Dahab.

Pictures from my trip to Hamburgsund in Sweden

Posted under Fun diving & Sweden

On the weekend from the 1st to the 3rd of August 2008, I had the pleasure of diving.

Here is a map of the divesite.

We were diving with Dyk Leif

The diving, the food, the fun was great, the visibility not that good. But still a great trip.

A nice looking crab.

The gallery containing the photo’s I took, can be found here: Gallery

Fundive at Trykkerdammen

Posted under Denmark & Fun diving

Today I had the pleasure to have a fun dive with my good friend Alice.

We went to a place in Helsingør called Trykkerdammen, and had two good dives.

One 36 Minutes long, and the second just 30 minutes long.

I often use this divesite for the last 2 open water dives, when conducting a Padi Open Water course, because it is quite easy to get to around 14-16 meters of depth here, actually the only place around Copenhagen where it is possible without a boat.
